TrendForce: Server CPU shipments may grow 31% in 2026 and are expected to rise more than 40% in 2027.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that according to the latest AI server industry research by TrendForce, as various AI service providers actively launch AI Agent-related applications, server CPU demand has grown steadily since the second half of 2025, with shipment growth estimated to reach 31% year-on-year in 2026. In 2027, driven by continued growth in AI inference demand and higher penetration of Agentic AI services, server CPU shipments are expected to grow by more than 40% year-on-year again; however, the market landscape dominated by the x86 camp may undergo changes.
