Two companies announced on Wednesday that within the coming weeks, OpenAI will make its frontier AI models and Codex coding agent services available externally through Google Cloud. The move deepens cooperation between the two competitors and highlights that major cloud service providers are becoming important distribution channels for top-tier AI models. According to a corporate blog announcement, the partnership will integrate OpenAI's latest models, including GPT-6 Astra, into Google Cloud's Model Garden model marketplace. Customers can purchase these models on the Google Cloud Marketplace and settle payments using their existing cloud service procurement credits. Through this, OpenAI aims to promote its models to more enterprise customers.
