Alphabet (GOOGL.US)'s Waymo expands into European markets: opens the door to Spain, plans to launch services next year

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that Waymo, the autonomous driving company under Alphabet (GOOGL.US), announced that it will pave the way for a fully driverless ride-hailing service in the Community of Madrid, Spain, with the goal of welcoming its first passengers in 2027. This marks Waymo's first entry into Spain.
