Rongtong Fund announced that the Rongtong Shenzhen 100 Index Fund added a Y share class on October 19 as a dedicated share class for personal pensions, and investors can subscribe through personal pension accounts. The Rongtong Shenzhen 100 Index Fund was established in September 2003 and tracks the Shenzhen 100R, an index that selects 100 stocks listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with large market capitalization and strong liquidity. Its constituent stocks cover both the Shenzhen Main Board and the ChiNext Board, and its sector structure spans both traditional and emerging industries, including consumer leaders in home appliances and food and beverages as well as growth sectors such as new energy, electronics, and biomedicine. iFinD data show that as of September 30, 2026, the index constituents were distributed across 22 CITIC Level-1 industries, with the top five weighted industries being electronics, telecommunications, power equipment and new energy, home appliances, and automobiles. Compared with single-style indices, this index has a more balanced industry distribution.
