Major European stock indices closed mixed.

The Europe STOXX 600 index fell 0.1%, the Euro Stoxx index fell 0.29%, and eurozone blue-chip stocks fell 0.34%. France's CAC40 index fell 0.32%, Spain's IBEX index rose 0.34%, the UK's FTSE 100 index fell 0.31%, and Germany's DAX index fell 0.05%.
