Maoye International (00848.HK) has appointed Huayao as an independent financial adviser.

Zhitong Finance APP news, Maoye International (00848.HK) issued an announcement that the board of directors announced that it has appointed Huayao Securities (International) Limited (Huayao) (a licensed corporation licensed to carry out Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance) as an independent financial adviser to provide advice to the independent board committee (comprising all independent non-executive directors, namely Mr. Rao Yong, Mr. Pu Bingrong and Ms. Xu Jing) on the proposal, the scheme and the continuing arrangements. The appointment of Huayao as an independent financial adviser has been approved by the independent board committee in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
