Busy Borders with Two-Way Traffic: 192 Million Entry and Exit Trips in Q3

On October 20, the National Immigration Administration reported that in the third quarter of 2026, immigration authorities nationwide processed a total of 192 million border crossings, up 7.9% year on year. Looking back at the first half of this year, 369 million border crossings were recorded, a historic high. In the third quarter, the "two-way flow" of Chinese and foreign travelers was equally robust.
