DeepSeek opens its self-developed search API, priced at only one-tenth of overseas vendors.

Recently, DeepSeek updated its V4.1 Flash model to version V4.1-Flash-1017 and opened up its self-developed search API, providing two interfaces: search and crawl. This means that DeepSeek is further opening up to developers the web retrieval capabilities and web content crawling capabilities supported by its self-developed search engine. Developers only need to call the interfaces through a few lines of code to give AI a pair of eyes to see the entire web. In terms of pricing, DeepSeek continues its low-price strategy. According to the officially announced billing rules, both search and crawl are charged by the number of successful requests, at 5 RMB per 1,000 requests, less than one-tenth of the pricing of similar overseas services and about half the price of the basic search services of Kimi and Zhipu.
