According to Nanfang Net, on October 19, the Information Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government held a press conference on Guangdong's import and export situation in the first three quarters of 2026. Liang Danhong, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Customs, introduced that the rapid growth of Shenzhen's foreign trade was mainly attributable to three aspects: First, upgraded industrial momentum. Artificial intelligence has empowered Shenzhen's industrial development, and foreign trade has continued to move toward "new" and "better" directions. In the first three quarters, the import and export scale of AI-related components such as integrated circuits ranked first in the country, contributing more than 60% of the city's foreign trade increment; exports of Shenzhen's competitive products such as 3D printers and digital cameras grew by 46.5% in total, accounting for more than 80% of the country's exports of comparable products. Second, bursting entity vitality. The number of enterprises in the city with import and export records exceeded 70,000, among which private enterprises carried the banner as the main force of foreign trade, with imports and exports growing by 49.9%, accounting for more than 70% of the scale and contributing nearly 90% of the city's foreign trade increment. Third, a diversified market landscape. In the first three quarters, more than 240 countries and regions had economic and trade exchanges with Shenzhen, and all of the top ten trading partners achieved double-digit growth. It is worth noting that, as the host city of this year's APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, Shenzhen's import and export scale with other APEC economies continued to lead the country, reaching a new historical high of 3.23 trillion yuan in the first three quarters, up 40%.
