National Bureau of Statistics: GDP in the first three quarters was 107.1071 trillion yuan, up 4.6% year on year.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, data from the National Bureau of Statistics on October 19 showed that, based on preliminary calculations, China's gross domestic product (GDP) for the first three quarters was 107.1071 trillion yuan, up 4.6% year on year at constant prices. By industry, the value added of the primary industry was 5.8994 trillion yuan, up 3.7% year on year; the value added of the secondary industry was 38.3822 trillion yuan, up 3.8%; and the value added of the tertiary industry was 62.8255 trillion yuan, up 5.2%. By quarter, GDP grew 5.0% year on year in the first quarter, 4.3% in the second quarter, and 4.5% in the third quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP grew 1.2% in the third quarter.
