National Bureau of Statistics: Production of new energy vehicles in September was 1.87 million units, up 16.9%.

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics show that in September, among 626 products in industrial enterprises above designated size, the output of 271 products increased year-on-year. Among them, steel was 118.17 million tons, down 3.8% year-on-year; cement was 144.01 million tons, down 5.3%; ten nonferrous metals were 6.93 million tons, up 0.1%; ethylene was 3.55 million tons, up 6.4%; automobiles were 3.063 million units, down 5.7%, of which new energy vehicles were 1.870 million units, up 16.9%; electricity generation was 829.4 billion kWh, down 1.2%; crude oil processing volume was 57.48 million tons, down 8.4%.
