Russian Deputy Prime Minister: Russian diesel will enter the US market 15-20 days after contracts are signed

On October 18, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak, who oversees energy affairs, said that Russian diesel fuel will enter the US market within 15 to 20 days after the contract is signed. Novak said that the US Department of Energy has identified the companies that will act as counterparties and buyers in the deal. Negotiations are currently underway on commercial terms, which in effect means discussing the signing of the contract. Once the contract is signed, the fuel will be delivered to the US market within 15-20 days. For closer countries, the time will be shorter.
