Exploration of AI Service Upgrades at Large Tertiary Grade-A Hospitals: AgiBot Lingxi X2 Participates in Outpatient Services
Online AI medical consultation services are extending into offline hospital settings. The Paper has learned that AgiBot's Lingxi X2 has taken part in outpatient services at the long-established tertiary hospital Peking University People's Hospital in the role of a "silicon-based receptionist." This is a smart hospital guidance project implemented through cooperation between AgiBot and Ant Afu. Relying on the multimodal intelligent Q&A capabilities of Ant Afu's AI medical assistant, Lingxi X2 can provide patients and visitors with diverse services such as department guidance, consultation process inquiries, medical insurance policy answers, and in-hospital location navigation. At the same time, by connecting to the hospital's private knowledge base, Lingxi X2 can produce standardized medical consultation responses based on in-hospital information, helping patients obtain the information they need and also easing the pressure of basic consultation work on the guidance desk. Operating data from Peking University People's Hospital shows that as of September 30, Lingxi X2 had worked at the outpatient navigation desk for 66 working days, completing a cumulative 46,686 interactions, averaging about 707 per day, with a single-day peak of 1,420 interactions. AgiBot said that as subsequent applications deepen and deployment expands, the project will further accumulate interaction and operational experience in hospital scenarios, explore the formation of a replicable and scalable smart medical service model, and provide a demonstration path for the AI service upgrade of large tertiary hospitals.
