Typhoon Champi continues to move west-northwest, no impact on China's sea areas before the 21st.

The center of this year's No. 30 typhoon "Champi" was located at 5 p.m. today on the northwest Pacific Ocean about 2,430 kilometers east-southeast of Taitung City, Taiwan, at 13.1 degrees north latitude and 141.8 degrees east longitude, with maximum winds of force 17 near the center, a minimum central pressure of 920 hPa, a radius of force-7 winds of 250-350 kilometers, a radius of force-10 winds of 100-120 kilometers, and a radius of force-12 winds of 60 kilometers. It is expected that "Champi" will continue to move west-northwest at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually approaching the sea area east of Taiwan, and its intensity will further strengthen. It will have no impact on China's sea areas before the 21st.
