According to Inner Mongolia Daily, on October 15, the Hohhot Municipal Administration for Market Regulation issued a business license to foreign-invested stem cell enterprise VitaCell Stem Cell Regenerative Medicine Engineering Co., Ltd., marking the official establishment of Inner Mongolia's first foreign-invested stem cell enterprise in the Hohhot area of the China (Inner Mongolia) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Inner Mongolia Horinger New Area. It is reported that stem cell and gene therapy technology, as one of the new biomedical technologies, is currently the most promising frontier direction in the global life sciences field, and was previously long listed as a restricted category in the negative list for foreign investment access.
