On the 16th, the Dalian Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for strong winds at sea: it is expected that from 8:00 to 14:00 on the 17th, the western coastal and southern coastal areas of the Dalian region will experience southeasterly winds of force 5 to 6, with gusts of force 7 to 8; it is expected that from 14:00 to 20:00 on the 17th, the coastal areas of the Dalian region will experience southeasterly winds of force 7 to 8, with gusts of force 9 to 10. Affected by sustained strong winds, the Liaoning-Shandong interprovincial passenger transport routes from Dalian, Liaoning to Yantai, Weihai and other places in Shandong were fully suspended at 8:00 on the 17th. The Dalian Zhuanghe and Pichang land-island transport routes had already been fully suspended on the evening of the 16th. It is understood that all routes will gradually resume normal operation after the impact of the strong winds ends.
