Symposium on the 10th Anniversary of the Luban Workshop Construction Held

On October 16, during the 2026 World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference, the 10th Anniversary Symposium on the Construction of Luban Workshops was held in Tianjin. Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Huai Jinpeng stated that China will remain committed to the original aspiration of joint contribution and shared benefits, continue to deepen the construction of Luban Workshops, and contribute China's strength to the development of global vocational education. First, optimize the layout system and expand the demonstration effect, continue to promote precise alignment between Luban Workshops and local industries, promote mature school-running models, radiate and drive more institutions and enterprises to participate, and promote youth employment and cultural exchanges. Second, strengthen standard guidance and improve governance efficiency, strictly control project access in accordance with the four national standards for Luban Workshops on construction, equipment, teaching, and evaluation, standardize the configuration of practical training conditions, and optimize the specialty layout, curriculum system, and talent training models. Third, deepen digital and intelligent empowerment, make good use of the Digital Luban Workshop on the National Vocational Education Smart Education Platform, innovate teaching, training, and teacher development methods, expand remote application scenarios, and enable more countries and regions to share the achievements of the digital development of vocational education. Fourth, refine the coordination mechanism and consolidate development guarantees, strengthen the building of regional and global organizations, and strengthen the planning, construction, and cooperation of Luban Workshops.
