In the first week after the National Day holiday, 65 new funds opened for subscription, an increase of over 200% compared with the previous week.
After the National Day holiday, the public fund issuance market quickly rebounded. Data shows that, based on subscription start dates, from October 12 to October 18, a total of 65 new funds across the market began subscription, up 209.52% week-on-week and marking a new high for issuance in nearly 6 weeks. By fund category, equity funds were the main force, accounting for more than 55% of new issuances, while FOF issuance hit a record weekly high. Looking ahead, many public fund managers believe that with the earnings verification window for third-quarter reports approaching, the market is likely to show a pattern of volatility and structural divergence in the fourth quarter of this year, with market style gradually moving toward balance.
