OpenAI poaches another AI-focused sales executive from SpaceX

OpenAI has hired Graham Seamans from Elon Musk's SpaceX to lead sales for its cybersecurity business. This is the latest example of the company poaching talent from Musk's artificial intelligence operations. Seamans had led the sales team at xAI since August 2025 and was involved in the company's new push to market its Grok chatbot to Wall Street. He said he will join the cybersecurity team at the ChatGPT developer. Seamans is another sales executive OpenAI has poached from SpaceX's AI division. According to his LinkedIn profile, before joining xAI last year, Seamans worked at MongoDB for about eight years.
