Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences receives FAO Achievement Award

On October 16 local time, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations held the closing ceremony of the 2026 World Food Forum at its headquarters in Rome, Italy. At the closing ceremony, the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was awarded the FAO Achievement Award for developing the Global Agricultural Monitoring Cloud Service Platform and promoting the application of satellite remote sensing technology in global crop monitoring.
