The State Council Information Office held a press conference today. A relevant official from the Ministry of Commerce stated that over the past year, the Ministry of Commerce has carried out nearly 100 "Export to China" events, providing more channels for quality products from various countries to enter the Chinese market. Over the past year, preparations for the China International Import Expo (CIIE) have been deeply linked with the "Export to China" brand events, jointly enhancing international influence and collectively unlocking the dividends of import policies. Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong: We invited the United Kingdom, Spain, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Thailand, and others to serve as the annual theme countries for "Export to China," linking with the CIIE's global promotion to facilitate precise matching between quality overseas exporting enterprises and domestic procurement entities. Before the CIIE, "Export to China" both "invited in" and "went out," holding special matchmaking events in Egypt, Germany, the United Kingdom, and other countries. Through the CIIE's "Into Local Areas" initiative and investment promotion roadshows, it expanded channels for supply-demand matching and strengthened coordination with "Invest in China" and "Buy in China."
