Volvo Cars expands its partnership with Nvidia in the field of autonomous driving.

Volvo and Nvidia said the automaker is expanding its partnership with Nvidia to develop a new generation of driver-assistance and autonomous-driving technologies, as carmakers race to bring increasingly advanced hands-free driving features to market. Volvo will combine its safety systems and engineering expertise with Nvidia's AI and computing technologies, including the Hyperion sensor, computer architecture and autonomous-driving software stack, the companies said.
