South Korea has not yet decided whether to further reduce the issuance of South Korean government bonds in November and December.
South Korea's Ministry of Finance stated that it has not yet decided whether to use this year's excess tax revenue to further reduce government bond issuance in November and December, nor has it determined the scale of any such reduction. Earlier, South Korea's News1 reported that South Korea is considering using excess tax revenue to cut government bond issuance by up to 10 trillion won in total in November and December. Note: South Korea already reduced its planned bond issuance by 5 trillion won in October to curb upward pressure on yields.
