Securities Daily: The appeal of Chinese assets to international capital continues to rise.
Since 2026, foreign institutions have stepped up research on Chinese assets, raised their ratings, and increased their holdings. Behind this trend is international capital's strong recognition of China's economic resilience, the results of industrial upgrading, and the strength of technological innovation. The pace of foreign institutions' research is an intuitive window into their interest in A-share companies. Wind data shows that as of October 14, more than 650 foreign institutions had conducted a total of more than 6,300 research visits to A-share companies during the year. Among them, Goldman Sachs Securities ranked first with 164 research visits, while Point72 Asset Management, Bank of America Securities, JPMorgan, and other foreign institutions each also conducted more than 100 research visits. From the perspective of industry distribution in the research, listed companies in high-end manufacturing sectors such as integrated circuits, machine vision, industrial control automation, and electrical equipment attracted more attention from foreign institutions. Montage Technology Co., Ltd., Orbbec Technology Group Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Inovance Technology Co., Ltd. were respectively included by 81, 72, and 57 foreign institutions among their top three areas of focus, with issues such as the pace of new business ramp-up, production line expansion and delivery conditions, and downstream business application scenarios drawing particular attention.
