JPMorgan: Global wafer fabrication equipment market size may grow 38% by 2027

JPMorgan said in a research report released on October 12 that the global wafer fabrication equipment market is expected to reach $225 billion in 2027, up 38% year over year, higher than the projected 31% growth in 2026, and further expand to $263 billion in 2028. Advanced-node foundry and DRAM will become the main growth drivers. The bank also expects TSMC's capital expenditure to reach $100 billion in 2028.
