A "Wall Street veteran" who once warned of a financial crisis is sounding a bubble alarm: U.S. stock valuations, leverage, and positioning are at the most extreme levels in his 40 years in the industry.
Zhito Finance APP has learned that David Rosenberg stated that the U.S. stock market is increasingly resembling a bubble, with valuations, leverage, and investor positioning all at extreme levels unseen in his 40 years in the industry. The founder of Toronto-based Rosenberg Research & Associates Inc. believes that the current bull market is far more dependent on the direction of artificial intelligence (AI) progress than the stock market was on the technology sector on the eve of the dot-com bubble. He said he has been buying U.S. Treasuries and overseas stocks in his portfolio, and called the United States the "center of the tech boom" for which investors are paying excessively high prices.
