On October 14, Wang Jun, Vice Minister of the General Administration of Customs, stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that China, relying on its complete industrial system and scientific and technological innovation capabilities, provides solid support for addressing the growth in global computing power and electricity demand. In terms of computing power, in the first three quarters, China's exports of integrated circuits grew by 99.1%, computer parts and accessories increased by 2.1 times, and storage components such as solid-state drives rose by 1.3 times, ensuring the stable supply of intermediate products in the global computing power industrial chain. Exports of data processing equipment such as servers increased by 7.2%, helping to advance global computing power infrastructure development. In terms of electricity, exports of related products made progress on multiple fronts in the first three quarters. In the smart sector, exports of photovoltaic products grew by 10.3%, and wind turbine generators and their parts increased by 22.4%, continuously filling the gap in global clean energy supply; in the power transmission sector, exports of wires and cables grew by 28.1%, and transformers increased by 22.5%; in the energy storage sector, exports of various types of batteries rose by 34.8%, reaching more than 200 countries and regions worldwide.
