Xinhua News Media (00309.HK): Court grants confirmation order in respect of the petition

Zhito Finance APP news, Xinhua News Communication Media (00309.HK) issued an announcement regarding a winding-up petition. On October 8, 2026, the Hong Kong High Court granted a validation order in respect of the petition, ordering that any transfer of the company's shares carried out on or after September 11, 2026, as well as any payment, application, or disposal of the net proceeds arising from the placement of 5,830,300 new shares of the company under the placing agreement dated September 2, 2026, shall not be invalid by reason of Section 182 of the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance.
