OpenAI is reportedly planning to "revive" Sora.

A stealth startup developing AI video for filmmakers is in talks with OpenAI to license Sora, adapt its capabilities, and sell software or other services built on the model, according to people familiar with the matter. The startup was founded several months ago by Hollywood producer Jeffrey Katzenberg, former Sora research lead Bill Peebles, and former Dropbox CFO Sujay Jaswa, and its name has not been made public. It is unclear whether the startup will be able to obtain Sora's weights, but the people said that if a deal is reached, the company would gain deep enough access to customize it significantly.
