Chinese securities firms are shifting their "going global" strategy from scattered exploration to concentrated investment, with capital increases for overseas subsidiaries exceeding RMB 50 billion this year, as the Middle East, Central Asia and other regions become new strategic pivots. Recently, Chinese securities firms have been making frequent moves in their internationalization efforts. Guolian Minsheng Securities' RMB 2 billion capital increase for its Hong Kong subsidiary officially received a no-objection reply letter from the China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Securities International obtained a license from the Dubai International Financial Centre, and Guotai Junan International signed a memorandum of understanding with the Almaty city government in Kazakhstan a series of moves marking that securities firms' global layout is extending from the Hong Kong hub deeper into the Middle East and Central Asia.
