The Dow rose 0.38%, the S&P 500 fell 0.06%, and the Nasdaq fell 0.44%. Ciena Tech fell 9.98%, Lumentum Holdings Inc. fell 9.78%, Coherent Corp fell 7.87%, Fair Isaac Corp rose 10.81%, Shopify rose 4.90%, and Medtronic rose 3.77%. Among the "Magnificent Seven": Meta Platforms rose 3.38%, Apple rose 1.29%, Microsoft rose 1.14%, Google rose 0.32%, Amazon fell 1.11%, Tesla fell 1.22%, and Nvidia fell 1.29%.
