Intel, Qualcomm, and AMD are reportedly raising CPU prices one after another.
Supply chain sources say Intel has taken the lead in raising prices for several PC processors since September, with high-end Panther Lake chips seeing increases of 15% to 20%, while Meteor Lake and Arrow Lake rose about 5% to 10%. Panther Lake did not see across-the-board price increases; this round of adjustments was concentrated on products manufactured by TSMC's N3E process and equipped with high-end GPU tiles. Platforms such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon X/X2 Elite saw price increases of about 10% starting in October. AMD is also reported to be preparing to adjust prices for some CPUs, with the extent, scope, and effective timing of the increases still to be confirmed.
