37 Yellow River diversion sluices "upgraded" to irrigate over 20 million mu of farmland with Yellow River water

Currently, the autumn grain harvest in Henan and Shandong in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River is nearing completion. Relying on newly built Yellow River water diversion projects and 37 newly reconstructed Yellow River diversion sluice gates completed this year, more than 20 million mu of fertile farmland along the Yellow River in the two provinces now uses Yellow River water, laying a solid foundation for stable production and a bumper harvest in the Huang-Huai granary.
