The primary market is welcoming a new round of capital injection from A-share companies. According to an incomplete tally by Securities Times reporters, from August 1 to October 7, a total of 262 A-share listed companies disclosed announcements about co-investing with professional investment institutions, subscribing for fund shares, or participating in the establishment of industrial funds and private equity funds, with more than 420 related announcements. Among them, 188 companies disclosed specific investment amounts, with a total subscribed scale of approximately 15.6 billion yuan; the median single investment was 40 million yuan, 47 companies invested more than 100 million yuan, and 7 companies invested 500 million yuan or more. Some companies did not disclose amounts, so the actual scale should be higher than the above figures. A board secretary of a Shanghai-listed company said in an interview with reporters, "The 'listed company + PE' model has always existed, and in a strict sense, three waves have already formed in the past." Feng Huang, a partner at Shanghai Xiefeng Asset Management Co., Ltd., believes that this intensive deployment by listed companies into the primary market is the result of the resonance of three factors: strategic transformation, the capital cycle, and policy dividends. Amid the investment boom, some potential risks are also worth guarding against.
