Guangdong Shantou reports a factory fire: open flames basically extinguished, no casualties

The Fire and Rescue Bureau of Longhu District, Shantou, Guangdong issued an incident report: At 11:06 on October 11, 2026, our bureau received a report from members of the public stating that a fire had suddenly broken out in a factory building in Longhu Industrial Zone. Our bureau quickly dispatched forces to the scene for handling. After full-scale firefighting efforts, by 12:20 the open flames had basically been extinguished, with no casualties. According to a preliminary understanding, the building where the fire started is a six-story reinforced concrete factory building, the fire originated on the fourth floor, the main burning materials were boxed items such as body wash and shampoo, and the burned area was about 350 square meters. The specific cause of the fire is subject to further investigation.
