Exclusive | Ant's "Lingguang" starts small-scale beta testing, new version benchmarked against "Meta Muse"
Sina Tech has learned exclusively that Ant Group's AI product "Lingguang" has recently begun limited internal testing of a new version, which is positioned against "Meta Muse."
Public information shows that in September of this year, Meta launched the personal agent Muse. This agent can intervene in users' daily lives and continuously follow up on matters users have assigned to it.
A person close to the project revealed that preparations for the relevant direction of Lingguang began about half a year ago, during which multiple versions were iterated, with a full rollout planned for this month.
The person also revealed that the core of this upgrade is Lingguang's shift from an AI assistant capable of chatting and generating applications to an AI-native personal agent with long-term memory that can proactively advance tasks. The new version of Lingguang can also call on Skills and MCP to enable functions such as sending messages via DingTalk and controlling smart home devices.
It is reported that the internal testing use cases for Lingguang 2.0 are concentrated in scenarios that are long-range, involve many variables, and are difficult for ordinary people to keep track of, such as helping office workers track market anomalies, helping parents manage DingTalk check-ins, and rearranging routes during travel when flights are delayed or scenic areas impose visitor limits.
