Fan Shunke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, held a discussion and exchange with European aluminum industry enterprises in Dsseldorf.

During the Dsseldorf aluminum industry exhibition, Fan Shunke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and Chairman of the China Nonferrous Metals Processing Industry Association, and his delegation held talks with Paul Voss, Director General of European Aluminium, and Nadine Bloxsome, Chief Executive Officer of the UK Aluminium Association. They had in-depth exchanges of views on topics including green and low-carbon development of the global and European aluminum industries, aluminum industry and trade policies, and globalization layout trends. They also visited the Alunorf aluminum rolling plant on site and held discussions and exchanges with Geert Vannuffelen, its Managing Director of Operations. In the discussions with the European and UK aluminum associations, Fan Shunke focused on sharing China's successful practices in the green and low-carbon transformation and supply-side structural reform of the aluminum industry, introduced the trade situation of aluminum products between China and Europe and between China and the UK, and expressed opinions and views on the EU CBAM.
