Russia partially lifts ban on diesel exports

Late on the evening of October 10 local time, the Russian government announced a partial lifting of the diesel export ban, with the relevant measures taking effect officially that same day. The Russian government announcement stated that the move is intended to implement an agreement reached between Russian President Putin and U.S. President Trump. According to the relevant decision, Russia will at this stage allow the export of 500,000 tons of diesel to the international market.
