Guangzhou Railway Group will implement a new train operating schedule starting tomorrow, with multiple trains running for the first time.

Starting from 00:00 on October 11, China Railway Guangzhou Group officially implemented the passenger train operating plan for the fourth quarter of 2026. This adjustment significantly strengthens the hub transport capacity of Foshan Station and continues to expand the station's transport supply. After the adjustment, train stops at Foshan Station will increase to 115, marking a notable improvement in transport capacity. A number of new originating and terminating trains have been added, with the first-ever launch of trains from Foshan to Wuhan, Shanghai South, Beijing West, and other destinations, comprehensively broadening Foshan's high-speed rail travel network to other regions. In response to the morning peak travel demand in the western Guangdong region, this adjustment focuses on strengthening early-morning capacity before 8 a.m., improving the morning peak travel experience in western Guangdong ahead of schedule. This adjustment also further expands the coverage of railway services by extending the operating sections of multiple trains and adjusting the numbers of some services. In terms of freight trains, 205 services will be operated, including 173 cross-bureau freight trains. The number of originating cross-bureau trains will increase by 8, including 5 additional express multimodal transport trains, 2 additional express intercity trains, and 1 additional conventional-speed multimodal transport train. New freight services will be added on key routes including Zhuzhou North and Changsha NorthShaling, Longchuan NorthPutian, Xiangtang WestChengdu North, and JiangcunHarbin South.
