According to South Korean media reports, ASML, the world's largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer, will uniformly raise the prices of replacement parts for equipment supplied in South Korea by 10%. The new prices will take effect in January next year, and this price increase covers all parts for EUV and DUV lithography machines. Industry insiders revealed that in early last month, ASML's headquarters had already sent a notice of intent to raise prices through its South Korean subsidiary to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, and the price increase was finalized after negotiations with the procurement departments of the two companies.
