According to Zhitong Finance APP, Wang Pindi, Director of Research at Hong Kong Property, stated that the Research Department of Hong Kong Property, based on data from the Hong Kong Land Registry, showed that in September, Hong Kong recorded 3,810 registrations for second-hand residential properties (including second-hand private residential and second-hand public housing), an increase of about 1.2% compared with 3,763 in August; among them, 1,213 registrations were recorded for second-hand residential properties priced at over HKD 5 million to HKD 10 million, an increase of about 6.8% compared with 1,136 in August, outperforming the overall market on a month-on-month basis. The related number rebounded after falling for two consecutive months and returned to above 1,200 cases. Given that it takes time from signing the sale and purchase agreement to submitting it to the Hong Kong Land Registry for registration, the September registration cases generally mainly reflect the market conditions in August.
