Yangtze River Delta railways sent nearly 56 million passenger trips during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday.

The reporter learned from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. on October 9 that the 16-day 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday transportation officially came to an end. During the 16 days, railways in the Yangtze River Delta sent a total of nearly 56 million passengers, with 4.427 million passengers sent on October 1 alone, setting a new record for single-day passenger volume during the National Day holiday over the years.
