According to Yunnan Daily, based on preliminary estimates under the new statistical survey methodology, from October 1 to 7, the province received 20.5496 million tourist visits and generated total tourism spending of 21.966 billion yuan, up 4.8% and 4.5% year on year respectively on a comparable basis; per capita daily spending by tourists was 489.01 yuan, with an average stay of 2.8 days. The province's 220 tourist attractions rated AAAA or above received a total of 11.7172 million tourist visits, with an average daily reception of 1,673,900 visits, up 2.3% and 2.1% year on year respectively.
