Poll: Le Pen Seen as Most Credible French Presidential Candidate

A latest poll commissioned by Le Figaro Magazine and conducted by Verian shows that on the eve of next year's presidential election, French far-right leader Marine Le Pen is still seen as more credible than her center-right rival Edouard Philippe and far-left leader Jean-Luc Melenchon. The poll shows that 39% of respondents believe Le Pen has a clear plan for France's future, compared with 27% for Philippe and just 18% for Melenchon. The poll also shows that 39% of respondents believe Le Pen is capable of making the necessary decisions; Philippe stands at 27%, and Melenchon at 16%. Verian surveyed 1,000 adults online from September 27 to 29, with a margin of error of about 2.5 to 3 percentage points.
