According to The Wall Street Journal: People familiar with the matter said Oracle (ORCL.N) is in talks with institutions including Apollo and Goldman Sachs to raise financing for a large-scale chip purchase, and hopes to complete the deal as early as this year. The financing is intended to bridge the funding gap between Oracle's payment for hardware purchases and the point at which its cloud computing business begins generating revenue.
