COP31 President-Designate calls on countries to accelerate action to curb temperature rise

Turkey's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and President-designate of the 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Murat Kurum, called on the world on the 7th to work together to accelerate climate action and preserve the possibility of achieving the 1.5 degrees Celsius temperature control target.
