World Gold Council: Global gold ETFs attracted a record US$31 billion in the third quarter.

The World Gold Council report noted that global gold ETFs attracted US$10 billion in inflows in September, driving third-quarter inflows to a record US$31 billion, led by funds listed in Europe and North America. Despite the decline in the gold price, global gold holdings still increased by 67 tonnes to a record 4,256 tonnes, while total assets under management fell 7% month-on-month to US$574 billion.
