Beibu Gulf Port successfully opens a direct import channel for Chongqing bauxite.

According to Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd. on the 7th, on October 1, a vessel carrying 168,000 tons of imported Guinean bauxite successfully berthed at Fangchenggang and efficiently completed the full-chain operations of berthing and unloading, stockpiling, and railway evacuation. The first batch of cargo was shipped by rail to Wanzhou, Chongqing, on October 3, effectively ensuring a stable supply of raw materials for Bosai Minerals' Wanzhou production base. The newly launched Guinean bauxite logistics route has innovatively established a new rail-sea intermodal model of "overseas mineBeibu Gulf Port entrydirect rail transport to Chongqing." Compared with the traditional Yangtze River sea-river intermodal route, the overall transport time is shortened by about 25 days.
