Report: SpaceX plans $40 billion financing led by Apollo to purchase Nvidia chips
Elon Musk's SpaceX plans to launch a $40 billion financing led by Apollo Global Management to procure Nvidia chips. People familiar with the matter said SpaceX intends to raise about $10 billion in bank loans, plus $30 billion in investment-grade bonds, to fund this massive chip procurement order. Private capital firm Apollo Global Management will lead the deal, responsible for marketing the bonds to a broad range of investors. The people said bond investment firm Pimco is also among the few financiers participating in the negotiations. The deal is expected to close in 2027.
