On October 5 local time, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) issued a notice stating that an oil tanker navigating in the Strait of Hormuz was hailed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which demanded it turn around or it would be attacked. The notice said the incident occurred about 11 nautical miles north of Khasab, Oman. The tanker's captain has confirmed that the vessel turned around as required. Authorities are currently investigating the incident. UKMTO reminded passing vessels to navigate with caution and report any suspicious activity. (CCTV News).
